2010 Dog Hike Dates Announced!

The tour, conducted by 4th generation winegrower, Jeff Kunde, is a moderately strenuous hike that will take you from the Sonoma Valley floor up to 1,400 feet into the Mayacamas Mountain range. Along the way, you will be rewarded with sights of bountiful wildlife, panoramic views of the breathtaking scenery of the Sonoma Valley and learn of Kunde Family Estate's sustainable winegrowing practices as they craft their ultra premium estate bottled wines.

Lasting approximately 4 hours, the hike will conclude with a wine tasting and a Wine Country Box Lunch overlooking the Sonoma Valley.

A portion of the fee for the dog hike will be donated to Canine Companions and Sonoma County Humane Society.

  • 3 mile hike through the 1,850 acre wine-growing estate with elevation change of 800 feet
  • Water bar and treats for the dogs
  • Wine tasting and picnic lunch in the vineyards for the dog walkers
